I have a backyard pond approximately 8 x 9 x 2 feet deep. It is 3 feet deep at the waterfall. I opened my pond in April this year cleaning out the leaves that got under the net and moving my plants back to the ledges. Within a short time I started to get “algae bloom”. I put a ¼ cup of Liquid PF into my pond. Within two days I could see to the bottom of the waterfall. My water irises are normally about 2 feet high and bloom for a week or so. This year they are 3 feet high and bloomed for about 3 weeks. In May I noticed string algae starting. I pulled out what I could reach and then put in another ¼ cup of Liquid PF. I have not seen any more string algae so far this year. My water lilies normally have had two to three blossoms at a time but this year there are six. All I can say is WOW.
I am one of those people who seem to attract every mosquito in the area and once bitten have a very bad reaction to the bites that last for a couple of weeks. Over the years I have tried almost every brand of insect repellant. Between the smell and not really working well, I stopped using sprays and had only been working in my yard in the heat of the day. I started using Bugs + Plus last August and have not had one bite since. I now go out in my yard when I want to. Thank you, thank you.
