My name is Ruth Lxxxi I attended an event at Niagara College last weekend and met Harold Priebe. At which point a purchased his book entitled "Old is New Again". I have to say it was the most informative intelligent horticultural resource I had ever read!

I am very interested in natural gardening and lawn care. As well as my houseplants and herbs. Though I am very much an amateur I love my little piece of nature. I also have a few people in my world that are like minded. Therefore I’d be very interested in purchasing at least 3 other books as gifts. I have a backyard pond approximately 8 x 9 x 2 feet deep. It is 3 feet deep at the waterfall. I opened my pond in April this year cleaning out the leaves that got under the net and moving my plants back to the ledges. Within a short time I started to get “algae bloom”. I put a ¼ cup of Liquid PF into my pond. Within two days I could see to the bottom of the waterfall. My water irises are normally about 2 feet high and bloom for a week or so. This year they are 3 feet high and bloomed for about 3 weeks. In May I noticed string algae starting. I pulled out what I could reach and then put in another ¼ cup of Liquid PF. I have not seen any more string algae so far this year. My water lilies normally have had two to three blossoms at a time but this year there are six. All I can say is WOW.

I am one of those people who seem to attract every mosquito in the area and once bitten have a very bad reaction to the bites that last for a couple of weeks. Over the years I have tried almost every brand of insect repellant. Between the smell and not really working well, I stopped using sprays and had only been working in my yard in the heat of the day. I started using Bugs + Plus last August and have not had one bite since. I now go out in my yard when I want to. Thank you, thank you.

Ken and Harold

I am glad you got home safely as the driving was terrible on Tuesday night. We didn?t actually finish our meeting as the weather was so bad we decided to wrap things up and get ourselves home. We all got home safely but it was certainly a white knuckle drive!

All five of us who attended had a wonderful time and we were very impressed with your presentation and the products. We are going to divide the free products up into smaller portions to share with the whole group. Thank you so much for your generous gifts; they were a complete surprise to us. I will recommend the two of you to all the horticultural societies and garden club groups I know as a good idea for a speaker. I love to hear anyone who is passionate about what they do and Harold is certainly that and more. I am so sorry that more of our members couldn?t attend on Tuesday.

I will share the price list with the group and see about doing a group order; I will email you when I have that together.

Since I am using The Natural Way Plant Products in my pastures and fields, I increased the quality of pastures (better grass, no weeds) as well as the hay fields. I could increase my harvest steady through the last four years never mind the weather. No mouldy crops and 100% more.

The population of flies arround the barn and in the pastures have decreased a lot.

Using Waymore Natural Manure Exellerator eliminated the flies in the barn and on the manure pile

Since using "The Natural Way" plant food and "Waymore Natural Services" on my grain field I noticed not only an increase in growth on the crop, also a decline in weeds on my grain field, without any other use of chemical fertilizer or any other herbicides on my field. Here is a handy tip

I have found the best way to keep slugs off the hostas is as soon as the crowns begin to pop up in the spring I sprinkle oyster shells in a wide circle around them. You can purchase 10lb bags at most co-op and feed stores. I believe they are used to provide grit for poultry. I have not been bothered by slugs since. It works the same way the crushed egg shells do but I could never eat enough eggs to match my large hosta collection. In the past 4 years since I started using the oyster shells I have had NO slug damage.

I find planting my tomato plants next to a large plastic pop bottle with the bottom cut off and buried upside down has eliminated blight and allows me to water and ,fertilize the roots not the soil around the plant.

The best all natural fertilizers and weed suppressants I have found is a line called www.thenaturalway.ca . I was so impressed with the product line we invited the owner to our local hort meeting as a speaker. He was a wealth of info and gave away product as door prizes.

Further to our phone conversation yesterday, could you please provide me with the name and phone number of a retailer in the Alliston area for your products.

I used your dry formula this summer on a 2 year old lawn that was not well cared for prior to my recent purchase of the property. Within 6 weeks of applying the dry formula, the lawn became noticeably healthier. It is thicker, greener and more resistant to weeds. I plan to continue to use your soil conditioner in the future. I especially like that it is safe for pets and plants.

Healthy soil leads to a healthy plant, or lawn in my case. It's a very simple concept that is often overlooked. Thanks for introducing me to your products.

I am a flower-aholic that has been using Harold's liquid PF ("Jolly Juice") for the past 3 years. My indoor plants as well as my outdoor plants love it!

I've had lots of compliments on the growth of my flowers.

I must admit I'm not much on measuring. I mix only what I need - using rain water. I keep the concentrate in the fridge to keep it fresh - plus I like that it is all natural!

A letter we received ...

In the spring 2003 we had 15 loads of fill and sop soil trucked around our new home southwest of Owen Sound, Ontario.

This fill and top soil was very poor and lumpy. We had to have a team of horses with disks and a roller to level it out. Our fear was that we could never grow a nice green lawn on it.

However, thanks to Harold and The Natural Way Products we now have a beautiful green thick lawn that we are very proud of.

Harold also has enhanced Diatomaceous Earth which we used to kill several stubborn ant hills with success.

We distribute waterplants and ornamental fish such as Koi.

We needed an economic fertilizer that is fish friendly and therefore environmentally friendly. We tested your product this past season. We wanted to see how it performs compared to another product that we have been marketing successfully for four years.

Subject: Fertilizer

A friend of mine picked up some of your fertilzer at a farmer's market for me. I gave it to my boyfriend who owns a campground in Niagara Falls. He used some on a tree that was dying. It is a big deal when trees die on this property because they are usually shading a campsite. It's a pain to have to remove the tree, plant another and wait a few years before it is giving shade.

Within weeks, the tree was completely healthy.
