A non-chemical insecticide, used to control pests in crops and gardens. It is extremely effective against soft-bodied insects such as slugs, aphids, ants, earwigs and roaches.

DE uses its sharp edges to cut the waxy coating of the insect allowing the DE to absorb the body fluids released, dehydrating the insect and causing it to die. The insect doesn't die instantly, as when you use a chemical insecticide, rather it dies slowly as it dehydrates, in one or two days. Naturally, a bug that dies in a day or two is just as dead as a bug that dies in a shorter time. Try that with chemical pesticides! The main reason is, that the bug is killed mechanically (physically) instead of chemically, cannot become immune, making it the obvious choice for insect control.

Enhanced Diatomaceous Earth (DE)

Regular Diatomaceous Earth enhanced with our original formula, air dried and then using a special process we return it to its original powered state. This is done to aid the biological life, and draw the insects closer.
